Ryan Seacrest and Julianne Hough have been dating for less than a year, but that hasn’t stopped rumors about the two heading to the altar. The gossip mill has been working overtime on the happy Hollywood pair ever since they jet-setted to Paris this month.
Still, Derek Hough, Julianne’s brother and co-star on Dancing with the Stars, admitted that he has yet to learn of Julianne’s supposed wedding planning.
“I haven’t heard anything [about an engagement] and I am sure I would have it if were true,” he told People.com.
Julianne, 22, and Seacrest, 35, have been spending time with one another since spring of this year. Both celebs dated other notable figures in the past – Seacrest has been linked to everyone from Sheryl Crow to Sophie Monk, while Hough was in a serious relationship with country singer Chuck Wicks for about a year.
It looks as though Derek would give his sister his blessing if she did indeed decide to become Mrs. Seacrest, despite a minor hangup with the age difference.
“I think she might be a little young,” he told the news outlet. “But we are all very supportive, and as long as she is happy that is what matters.
