12-15 Months To Go

• Determine your size of wedding and potential guest count
• Set your wedding budget
• Choose your wedding date
• Book your ceremony and reception venues
• Hire a full service or month-of wedding planner
• Draft a guest list and their addresses
• Plan who will be a part of your wedding party

9–11 Months To Go

• Research and book your photographer and cinematographer
• Determine catering services or choose from venue caterers
• Hire your wedding and floral designers
• Finalize guest list
• Shop for your wedding dress
• Book your wedding entertainment – DJ, Band, etc.

6-8 Months To Go

• Taste wedding cake and desserts options and place your order
• Take engagement photos
• Send out Save the Dates to your guests
• Hire a hair and makeup stylist
• Discuss honeymoon plans and book travel arrangements
• Reserve accommodations for out-of-town guests
• Determine your bar services and whether it’s an open or cash bar
• Select a ceremony officiator or religious celebrant
• Shop for bridesmaids dresses and groomsmen’s suits
• Order rentals and confirm design services

3-5 Months To Go

• Send out wedding invitations
• Order your wedding rings/bands
• Book hair and makeup trials
• Book hotel rooms for night before/day after wedding celebrations
• Finalize wedding itinerary, food menu and floral arrangements
• Determine and select a rehearsal dinner venue
• Order wedding favors, additional entertainment and centerpieces
• Plan and organize bridal shower and bachelor/bachelorette parties

1-2 Months To Go

• Get the marriage license
• Collect RSVP’s and finalize guest list for the last time
• Confirm the wedding venue decor and setup
• Determine seating chart
• Walk through itinerary with wedding party
• Order beverages and alcohol if you’re having an open bar
• Purchase a guest book and other wedding day accessories
• Put together gifts for the wedding party
• Have final dress fitting
• Decide who will be saying the toasts
• Select grand entrance and first dance songs
• Write wedding vows
• Confirm honeymoon plans

1-2 Weeks To Go

• Pick up rings, wedding dress and groom’s suit
• Ensure bridesmaids and groomsmen have their attire
• Check-in with the venue, wedding planner, and emcee to review the itinerary and wedding events
• Pack for honeymoon

Week Of:

• Confirm vendor arrival times
• Organize guest transportation
• Pack an emergency kit
• Get your nails and other beauty preparations done
• Give wedding party their gifts
• Get excited for your big day!

Day Of Your Wedding!

• Eat breakfast
• Spend time with your bridesmaids
• Check-in with your wedding planner and review anything delegated to your maid of honor
• Share a special moment with your spouse
• Enjoy your ceremonies!
