Now these trucks are making their way into weddings and other events, according to NPR.<\/p>\n<p>Nida Rodriguez owns The Slide Ride, a food truck in Chicago that serves gourmet sandwiches, recently decided to do some catering &#8211; and it has been successful. She caters events of all kinds including <a href=\"http:\/\/albuquerque-santa-fe.perfectweddingguide.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">weddings<\/a> &#8211; already she has 10 weddings booked this summer, according to the news source.<br \/>\nFood trucks aren&#8217;t exactly for a <a href=\"http:\/\/albuquerque-santa-fe.perfectweddingguide.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">traditional wedding<\/a>, but those couples who are\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/albuquerque-santa-fe.perfectweddingguide.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">planning a wedding on a budget\u00a0<\/a>and are willing to forgo some of the logistics, many find these trucks to be the <a href=\"http:\/\/albuquerque-santa-fe.perfectweddingguide.com\/all\/cakes-catering\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">perfect caterer<\/a> for their nuptials, the media outlet reports.<\/p>\n<p>According to The Daily Meal, many brides and grooms have been taking advantage of food trucks for a late night snack for people after the reception or they will hire one to come out in between the ceremony and the reception so the guests have something to do.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Food trucks have been growing in popularity in recent years, as they have found a place to park in cities all over the country.
