\"\"<\/a>Brianne Bricker has been a bridesmaids in nine weddings in just two years, and the 24-year-old does not think she can afford another. In fact, she turned a friend down, according to CNN.<\/p>\n

“From the moment they announce the engagement, to the day your friend walks down the aisle, if that’s a year and a half, you don’t realize that you’ve spent $1,600,” Bricker told the news source.<\/p>\n

According to the Columbia Tribune, Deborah Lynn has been a bridesmaid in 15 weddings, and finally had to back out of the last one due to high stress.<\/p>\n

“She said, ‘We need these necklaces, and you have to get these earrings. You need to go here and do this, and you need to go here and do that.’ I told her, ‘You know what? I can\u2019t do it,'” Lynn told the news source. “Every day there was something more to do with the wedding. And most of them seemed to involve gifts.”<\/p>\n
