Well, yes, we do<\/em> have a fireplace in the homey headquarters of Wedding Collective New Mexico<\/a>. But no, we\u2019re not actually lazying about! Tucked away from the wind and chill, we\u2019re hard at work preparing for the last wedding show of the year<\/a> and meeting new, creative wedding professionals<\/a> here in our desert state.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Even with our plates full of networking events<\/a>, magazine production<\/a>, and resource-building<\/a> for engaged couples, there\u2019s always time for a bit of swooning.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

So let\u2019s take a step back from the busy day together!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Briana Nicole, the artistic force behind Briana Nicole Photo + Video<\/a>, shared a stunning, local wedding with us a few weeks ago and we\u2019ve been dying to share it with you, here, ever since.\u00a0<\/span>No need to grab a warm beverage or extra blanket \u2014 this wedding day is heartwarming enough to keep us cozy for days to come.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When the sun was still shining high and bright, these two lovebirds began their new life together framed by the inspiring New Mexican architecture of Casas de Suenos<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I loved working with Christianne and Alfonzo! From the very beginning, Christianne was so excited about their wedding and had so many ideas. We both discovered we had a love for One Tree Hill and on the wedding day, I showed up to a Raven\u2019s jersey just for me (if you know you know). On their wedding day, their love SHINED! Seeing the way Alfonzo looked at his bride all day made me that much more happy they chose me. This was a wedding I will never forget.<\/p>\n

It seems only fitting that Christianne and Alfonzo tied the knot at the House of Dreams<\/a> \u2014 their wedding was a dreamy celebration with sky-blue details that inspire reverie and star-gazing. Weaving traditional practices with new, unique moments, the couple danced, dazzled, and delighted in the unparalleled joy of the day.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

My favorite memory of the day was getting to do La Marcha. Growing up in New Mexico, I\u2019ve been to so many weddings where I\u2019ve participated in the dance but it was so special to be at the front of the line and end up in the circle surrounded by all of our loved ones. I remember looking around and knowing that would be a core memory.<\/p>\n

Enjoying bites of pizza and inside jokes, the newlyweds and their loved ones filled the courtyard with joyful laughter. That, and the twinkle of delectable drinks clinking together as the guests gave cheers and speeches holding signature cocktails from ABQ Barkeeps<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Bouquets and pops of florals by the team of artists at Bosque Flower Studio<\/a> brought an extra boost of liveliness and color to every corner, while Christianne’s expertly done DIY details grounded the celebration in authenticity. Briana and her team of experienced visual storytellers<\/a> captured each perfect moment, and for that, we couldn’t be more grateful.<\/p>\n
