First and foremost, welcome to November! We are pretty dang excited that we’ve made it this far in this crazy year. It hasn’t been easy and it certainly hasn’t been all rainbows and butterflies, but despite the hardships, we’re here and that is what matters! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wedding planning <\/a>has evolved so much over the course of the past nine months and we couldn’t be more proud of the community<\/a> for finding the light when it seemed there was none. For engaged couples<\/a> like you, wedding planning<\/a> is the dreaded task associated with one of the happiest days of your lives \u2013 and we don’t want you to think that way. It’s time for a shift in perspective! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are a few ways to get excited about wedding planning:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
  1. Have a wedding planning<\/a> date night with your partner.<\/strong> Have fun with this! You can order your favorite takeout or cook a meal together, put on some music, and get to planning together.<\/li>
  2. Create wedding planning<\/a> bingo.<\/strong> This is a fun way to check items off your list while also rewarding yourself once you’ve completed a task! Every time you get “BINGO”, reward yourself with a spa day, sweet treats, or something of the like.<\/li>
  3. Gather your friends and divide up the work. <\/strong>Sometimes, especially if you’re a busy person, wedding planning<\/a> can take up a lot of mental space and time. In order to make the work easier, ask some good, trustworthy friends to help you with small tasks that seem daunting to you. Before you know it, the work will be done!<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    And remember… your love is all that matters!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    For Kelly + Stuart, they learned just this when their wedding turned from normal to COVID compliant. Even though they had a different day in mind, they found ways to make it their own and stress-free. The result? Undeniably stunning and intimate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Stuart and Kelly were set on having a gorgeous summer wedding at historic Los Poblanos here in Albuquerque, when COVID-19, aka the pandemic that literally no one asked for, hit around the globe. As June grew closer and more restrictions were put into place, these lovers eventually settled on an intimate wedding at the property with just their parents and two of their closest friends. And even though it was small, this day was beyond beautiful and for all the right reasons. The one detail that really stood out to us was Kelly and Stuart\u2019s love for one another. Kelly recalls walking down the aisle and realizing that it didn\u2019t matter if there were a handful of guests or a hundred guests, all she could see in perfect clarity was Stuart smiling at her.
