Normally, we plan one special evening in September to get our party on and spend time with New Mexico <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weddingcollectivenm.com\/#vendor-categories\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">wedding vendors<\/a> from all over the state. Since the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weddingcollectivenm.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Wedding Collective<\/a> team loves to have a good time, we go the extra step and select a theme for our party. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weddingcollectivenm.com\/blog\/2019\/10\/01\/2019-vendor-appreciation-night-recap\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Last year<\/a> we celebrated while dressed as mermaids, sailors, and pirates! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, this year looked a bit different. To keep things safe and our lovely <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weddingcollectivenm.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">wedding community<\/a> healthy, we opted for a virtual ceremony over Facebook Live! I guess you could say that this year&#8217;s theme was simply &#8220;2020&#8221; &#8212; the year spent on our computers, learning TikTok dances, and getting creative with ways to have fun. If you missed the video, you&#8217;ll understand exactly what we mean when you watch it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even though we didn&#8217;t get to hug, shake hands, and dance with each other in person, we still know that all of our vendor&#8217;s hard work deserves to be celebrated. We announced winners in 17 different categories, and even though it was a very close call for some of them, the community certainly put the spotlight on some incredible <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weddingcollectivenm.com\/#vendor-categories\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">vendors<\/a>.
