If you can believe it, it’s already that time of year where we get to celebrate our local wedding community + gear up for the Fall wedding season! Normally, we plan one special evening in September to get our party on and spend time with New Mexico wedding vendors from all over the state. Since the Wedding Collective team loves to have a good time, we go the extra step and select a theme for our party. Last year we celebrated while dressed as mermaids, sailors, and pirates!
However, this year looked a bit different. To keep things safe and our lovely wedding community healthy, we opted for a virtual ceremony over Facebook Live! I guess you could say that this year’s theme was simply “2020” — the year spent on our computers, learning TikTok dances, and getting creative with ways to have fun. If you missed the video, you’ll understand exactly what we mean when you watch it!
Even though we didn’t get to hug, shake hands, and dance with each other in person, we still know that all of our vendor’s hard work deserves to be celebrated. We announced winners in 17 different categories, and even though it was a very close call for some of them, the community certainly put the spotlight on some incredible vendors. We were happy to see a beautiful combination of veteran winners + brand new ones, too!
