Couple plans circus wedding

Planning a wedding was quite a project for Mike Mazzarella and Lindsay Moher, as they had one main theme they knew they wanted to incorporate into their wedding – the circus, according to the Bridgeport News.

“Mike and I have always enjoyed the circus,” Moher told the news source. “Every year we go to the Barnum & Bailey show. So when we decided we wanted to do something different for our wedding, we chose this, something we both enjoy. We thought it would be fun for everyone.”

The wedding was filled with circus-themed posters, programs and clown noses for the guests. They considered it a success, as the two got hitched on October 15, the media outlet reports.

It seems as if unique wedding ideas are growing in popularity and some traditions get left behind. According to TooFab, Destin Pfaff and Rachel Federoff, who work for the Bravo network’s “Millionaire Matchmaker” Patti Stanger, had an unusual, dark goth-themed weddings. The beautiful wedding dress was white, however it had black detailing on the back. In addition, the cake was tiers of Day of the Dead skeletons of the bride and groom.
